Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Loudoun County, Virginia. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On a typical shift you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
