On a typical shift you will keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
