Vacuum press operator wanted in Lucas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Lucas County, Ohio. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment On a typical shift you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots.
