Vertical milling machine operator • Scott County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Scott County, Illinois. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters On a typical shift you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
