Join our team: turning centre operator (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Chambers County, Texas. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
