Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiler in Darrang, Assam. The job is on a new-build housing development. You will fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency. You should bring familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone; own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels); a good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
