Gardener — El Paso County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in El Paso County, Texas. You will be based in a public park. Day-to-day duties: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
