Core maker • Bindawa, Katsina State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Bindawa, Katsina State. On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
