Port container crane operator — Wrexham

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Wrexham, Wales. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
