Blocklayer — Mangan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Mangan, Sikkim. You will be based on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should bring reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets; able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently.
