Immediate opening: VMC operator (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Wolverhampton, England. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
