Port container crane operator wanted in Geidam

Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Geidam, Yobe State. You will be based on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
