Now hiring: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Multnomah County, Oregon. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; record output and downtime on the production sheet; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
