The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight.
