We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Thayer County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter 3+ years on the tools preferred.
