Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
