Toolroom milling operator • Coles County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Coles County, Illinois. The role involves apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
