Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Duval County, Texas. You will be based at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Overtime paid at a premium rate.
