CNC milling operator • Champaign County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Champaign County, Illinois. You will be based in a toolroom. You will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
