Rigger — Jalingo

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Jalingo, Taraba State. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads.
