Fusing press operator — Dass

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Dass, Bauchi State. On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
