Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Magumeri, Borno State. The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
