Now hiring: we are hiring a prep cook in Comanche County, Texas. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. You will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare the mise en place before each service; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
