Pressman wanted in Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Washington County, Rhode Island. You will work in a busy laundry. Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $120 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
