Cnc turning machinist • Walsall, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Walsall, England. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
