Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Leon County, Florida. You will work at a fast-food outlet. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Strong knife skills and speed on the line The role involves: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down Six days a week, one day off.
