Gang bricklayer — Bayo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Bayo, Borno State. You will be based on a busy housing site. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays.
