Port container crane operator • Boyle County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Boyle County, Kentucky. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
