Vacancy available: hoist operator (Delta State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Ukwuani, Delta State. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. You will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); work out the load weight and the lifting radius; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
