Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. The job is in a hotel kitchen. You should bring able to read and follow recipes and dockets; able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies; able to stand for long shifts and work in heat. On a typical shift you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
