Vacancy available: slinger signaller (Ebonyi State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Onicha, Ebonyi State. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
