Crane operator • Effingham County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Effingham County, Illinois. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
