Protective coatings painter — Gateshead

Vacancy available: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Gateshead, England. You will be based in a paint and spray workshop. The role involves clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; sand and fill walls before applying primer; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application Full-time with occasional weekends.
