Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Chikun, Kaduna State. On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; season and marinate meat on request; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₦295,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
