Great opportunity: we are hiring a sausage maker in Taura, Jigawa State. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₦160,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
