Pipe tig welder — Bosso

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Bosso, Niger State. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts.
