Blocklayer — Ukwuani

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ukwuani, Delta State. The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Pay around ₦60,000 per month, based on your experience.
