Urgent requirement: trailer driver (Assam)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trailer driver in Darrang, Assam. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Day to day you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery. Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
