Plant operator (dozer) — Merced County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Merced County, California. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
