Finish carpenter — Dixie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Dixie County, Florida. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
