Now hiring: we are hiring a dozer operator in Thurston County, Washington. You will work on a road construction project. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Overtime paid at a premium rate.
