Canteen cook • Kukawa, Borno State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Kukawa, Borno State. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure On the job you will handle: • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations Full-time, day shift.
