Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Scott County, Virginia. You will be based in a bread factory. Day-to-day duties: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
