The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
