Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Bath County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Bath County, Virginia. You will work in a toolroom. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance.
