We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Lorain County, Ohio. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale.
