Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Bassa, Plateau State. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. On a typical shift you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
