We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Damboa, Borno State. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
