Sand plant operator — Rogo

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Rogo, Kano State. You will work at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
