Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Six days a week, one day off.
